I was trying to put new shocks on my 64 baja and brock the upper bolt that holds that shock in. Need help! how do i get it out? New shock mount plate or something? Thanks in advance.

Do you have some pics of it ?

you can drill it out and clean the threads up with a tap or just oversize the hole and use a bolt and nut combo...just make sure you go grade 8 on the hardware.

I went over to VW Paradise in San Marcos and I bought some replacement bolts and I also bought some of the rear mounts as they are longer. I will try to tap but if not I will drill it out and use the longer bolts. Thanks for your help.
