Nah, this is gonna be something simple if all else has been checked... mine, I had tranny out and checked out even; all was "fine" according to mech. When I went to hook clutch back up, it was a bear. I took out the quick shift plate AND the round spacer on shift bar and it worked good but still until the hook broke it was mournful... even though cable "looked" ok, I replaced it when the pedal assembly was rebuilt. if you do not have that shifterplate at the shifter itself in just the right spot, it can do this... Not to send a plug to anyone, but I know Jon Edwards in Beaumont is really good at finding this right spot and getting cars some saidneeded a new tranny to shift smooth again... worth a try; tell him Cinder's mom sent you ( hi MIGHT be a bit easy.... might not but worth a try)

( when you undid shifter to replace bushing, you needed to have it in 2nd, right? and you needed to line the shift rod back into the same spot it was before you replaced the bushing... & up where the shifter mounts to the floor, that has to go back down the same too or it will screw with everything.... if you cant get it, I know John can... I fought and fought with the Hag until just last week when I realized I finally am getting to know her and her to know me; just cos a book says it should be this way does not mean the previous owner knew that... some things, a lot of things actually are trial and error until you two reach an understanding.... )

hey bugsy, what do yah know. I put aside my pride and did it. I flipped the plate and bam, it works good. Now if I can olny get the oil pressure to go up, I would be done..................................................

Hey try running some seafoam through the case for a while. It should help to clean out the oil passages and hopefully increase your pressure. How low are you running?

Well, it is at the top mark on the dipstick when not running as it should be and at the add a quart line when running. not sure of the actual pressure. I got a HV oill pump and after I put that in, I am running it with cheap oil and engine cleaner then hopefully it will be ok. If not I need to swith it with th 1200 but I need a fan shroud for that.
