This post is to shed some light on problem around the engine area that i have seen or encountered.

Recently i have seen many cooling fans issues like being loose or miss adjusted. if you hear weird noises from engine that sound like something is rattling or rubbing inside the fan housing check to see if the fan is adjusted correctly and the nut that holds it on is tight. a loose nut will ruin your day very quickly.

i will add things as i see them.

also check for debris on the intake side of the fan. all sorts of neat things find their way in there (misplaced work rag, plastic shopping bags, dropped nuts and screws, etc...)
