Well, I got my Ghia but it seems that when the PO replaced the clutch, they replaced the front main seal as well and well yeah.... clutch saturated with oil because they did not do it right... SO... PO says he will pay for it to be repaired in a shop... anyone know a good Ghia mech to change the seal and correct the clutch issue? I have to laugh.. I have two VW's and neither in good working order... LOL I relaly need this done ASAP. Thanks!

Squeakers is going to VW Paradise next week for some R&R.. she needs it, PO did a weird job at maintenance.... Fuel filter was BLACK, clutch cable too long, main seal leak... alt knocking... afraid what Paradise will tell me after checking her out.... LOL

Wellllll... today was interesting... other day I drove her and she was HOT, I mean on a VW, after a drive, if you wonder cos no gauges,, you feel the oild dipstick, and sure it will be warm, but not so hot you burn yourslef, if it is, you got trouble... and that I did. SO I asked the PO what he had the timing set at, he said he had advanced it trying to get more "pep". Greattt... I think to myself, go out and check it today before I head to the post office. WHy I did not see this before, I have not a clue, probably cos I was not looking for it since it is so absurd. so anyhow,, I go to clip the timing light to the sparkplug wire and the wire goes to the #4 cyl, not #1... WHATTTTTttt???? I think, pop off cap and the #1 mark is at the #2 cylinder spot.. OMG! LOL I KNEW she sounded funny, everyone else going, no, just a VW.... UGH. SO, I called triple A, and she is at Back's in San Jacinto, in Todd's hands. I know I planned on VW Paradise but this cannot wiat... I live in the middle of now where and NEED a working car.

So, we will see.. I know rough estimate without him physically looking at it is 454.... sigh....... but that is about VW Paradise quote before the distributor problem too.... While I was there a four seater , turbo'd rail that Todd built fired up... OMG! Now I WANT a turbo for the Hag... LOL I know I know... money and she is not even running... LOL
