About me
well dave has never made it down to a meeting or drive, but have just purchased my second vw,, 1974 regular bug.. sold 1970 fastback, and used money to buy this car.. i have a lot to learn about these cars, but once again i will be trying to put a/c in car for driving in central valley during summer time.. have heard new a/c units run 134 and don't put as much strain on motor.. will let you know... sorry for being a poor supporter of your great club dave... updated 3 12 12

Matt : 71-74 standard bugs are great years, less rust on or in the cars than older cars and can be converted to baja bugs with the irs rear end and a type 181 (thing)front end on a budget if they want a baja down the road, just a thought.
TeshSeb : Eddie, no smog until 75, depending on your budget, every car worth something but thos models are not the most desirables. Newbus, what engine do you have, on a stock 1600 keep your 34, I have a 71 too and it is running great just like that, but with the dual vacuum distributor
