My wife and I are I guess you say old and new enthusiasts. We owned a VW before but had to sell it due to financial difficulty. We now have a 65 Bug and have put alot of blood, sweat and tears (literally) into it. Looking foward to some fun times.

Matt : 71-74 standard bugs are great years, less rust on or in the cars than older cars and can be converted to baja bugs with the irs rear end and a type 181 (thing)front end on a budget if they want a baja down the road, just a thought.
TeshSeb : Eddie, no smog until 75, depending on your budget, every car worth something but thos models are not the most desirables. Newbus, what engine do you have, on a stock 1600 keep your 34, I have a 71 too and it is running great just like that, but with the dual vacuum distributor
